Ryan, Buggy is the biggest class anywhere you go other than dougs, and it will make you faster if you race against everyone.

I disagree that 8th scale will make you a better driver, 4wd makes people lazy. Just look at all the guys that show up to dougs once and a while with 8th scales they couldn't drive their way out of a paper bag. You know the ones Im talking about that hit the orange fence at the end of the straight on every lap and hit the table top so hard they end up in the straight.
The class that makes an offroad driver is 2wd electric buggy, Dougs is too bumpy for that though.

if you traveled like us then you would see that 1/8th is by far the most competitive offroad racing. last weekend at the hut there was only a 20 seconds between 1st place in the a-main and last in the b-main for qualifying. Electric is not where the competition is at. It is a dying breed. Shit even monster truck is hard to race. Dougs is a very very easy track. The people who cant drive there 1/8th scales are guys who dont dedicate any time to racing. Sorry if im sounding like an asshole but its true that 1/8th scale is here to stay and i constantly gaining in popularity, second to that is definetly monster truck.

Region 1 is the only place where 8th scale is popular. A regional is not a big race. And Kevin you were an asshole before and your still a little asshole.
And if I remember right you couldn't drive electric truck worth a shit at Dougs so.....

last year i was really good at it, when i actually liked it. 2nd of all We are in Region 2. 3rd no im not an ashole....just stating the facts i guess. 4th trust me when i say that 1/8th is the most popular offroad class.

Its funny the class you cared about at Dougs was the one you only had to finish to be atleast 2nd place. Sorry region 2 Your smoking crack if you think 1/8th scale is more popular than electric in the US. If it was why does no US company make an 1/8th buggy? Why are most of the ads in the magazines for electric stuff? Your just stuck in your little region 2 world. And I do travel places to race, just not those glorified club races they call ROAR regionals. I have raced in as many states this year as you have and I plan on racing in atleast two more. As well as going to the Flordia Winterchamps in Feb
