Did get a RTR RC-18B for Xmas. The little buggy is a BLAST!

Look's like the other 9-10 truggies out there. The big difference is the Brand, which will allow a bigger price, with the illusion of a better , more competitive toy.
Any truggy will perform if set up correctly, and of course a disciplined driver. So far the Jammin Jay Halsey truggies haven't touched my cheap lightning. We have up to 65-70 drivers competing at each race here in Fl. Still undefeated. Don't be fooled by the hype. In the late 80's, I used to design and build my own prototype RC racers while I was at NASA. I was outrunning most of the factory drivers at the region and higher levels. Sometimes the factory guys would "leave" at high profile races because the factories did not want to advertise that a home made racer could be competitive with their leading edge tech. Once again, a racer is only as good as their ability to set up to track conditions and of course, self discipline.
Good luck guys. I'll let you know if I hit any big races this year. The factory guys here have offered a full ride , but I love being the privateer spoiler. For now...countdown to my final retirement from competing. Hope to see you at the events.
