Interesting, especially considering that HPI usa and Hot Bodies have the same address. I wonder if they will be selling it in the US. Kevin how similar does it look to your LSP?
Those eccentric bushings used to change things are really cool, kind of copied that idea from X-Ray's 10th scale sedan but it was a good idea.
HPI kits are usually tough as nails too.

Yea I know what you mean, I figured HPI had just put their name on the Lightning.
I think a major company like HPI putting out a truck that will have good parts availability like all HPI stuff will only help the racing truck class. I always thought their Savage only races (that get like 300 entries) were really cool, I look for them to add a Hellfire only class to these. Touring car racing really took off when HPI entered the market, they invented 18th scale racing, so I think the future of this class looks bright. All of that advertizing money they spend in the magazines doesn't hurt their popularity either.

It is a good looking machine, can tell now the tires suck though and they use a 17mm hex instead of the standard 14 or 23

Tires not rims, the rims are fine the tires look useless.
Its whether or not people show up to race them or not is what I was refering to. .
