Pat drop it stop arguing i wasnt trying to but you are set on your ways.
It doesnt matter if any one has an advantage they run them together unless you go to nationals, which none of us do so leave at that. And also like brian said so much of it is driving skill......Remember those two hot bodies trucks that came to dougs, well guess what i beat them all with my revo......

I am set in my ways, the reason being over the span that I have raced I have seen about 10 tracks close and usually the reason people say they quit racing was that they were tired of always having to buy completely new stuff to compete. Personally I dont care if I have to buy new stuff I dont have a wife or kids nagging me but the reason I care is I end up with nowhere or nobody to race with. Whether or not this is the real reason it is what people think and thats what matters. It has happened to me so many times and it always starts out the same. It really sucks to not have any place to race at because attendance dropped and the track could no longer afford to stay open or no longer wanted to due to low interest.

I don't think MT will be the fastest class at all.... if MT is advancing in technology what do u think 1/8 buggy is doing?

Your right to a point, the faster they are the more hardcore racers will be willing to dive into them and see them less and less as a plaything. Heck the Europeans still don't see stadium truck as a valid class to race.
But the way I see it, there are probably 100 people with monster trucks that just play around in their yard for every racer out there, if racers could just "recruit" 2 or 3 out of every hundred all of racing would benefit. We don't want to scare these people off, I think racing needs an infusion from these people or it is doomed forever for tracks to constantly go under, new ones to open only to go under in a couple years. I always thought the HPI challenges were really cool where there were like 80 Savages in a class.

Whatever people, there arent many stock monster trucks around here, most everyone runs the hot bodies truck or an 1/8 buggy with monster truck stuff on it, thats the way things are going, so they just toss the other trucks in cause they dont want to split them up. But at the bigger races they do cause the attendance is greater, and they can make different classes, but i think that it is funny, cause there are like three monster truck classes, you look at gas truck, and 1/8, they are all one class, monster trucks should all be in the same class, they are all considered monster trucks.
